Drew Estate was started in 1998, by two fraternity brothers, in a 16 square foot retail kiosk in the World Trade Center in NYC. Their brands include ACID, Undercrown, Liga Privada, and several more.
In 2009, the owners asked their torcedores (highly skilled and trained cigar rollers) to smoke less Liga Privadas because they were leaving too few to be exported. Disappointed, they responded by blending their own signature liga. Undercrown is a factory floor creation, born out of Drew Estates’ worker’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and passion for a great cigar.

Undercrown Maduro is made at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua. Its wrapper is San Andrés from Mexico covering a Connecticut Habano binder and Brazilian and Nicaraguan filler. This cigar is available in 8 sizes. Undercrown is also available in Sun Grown and Shade.
