OpusX has arrived! Why is this cigar in such high demand? According to a recent article by Cigar Aficionado, the complexity, power, and unique taste is unmatched. Next up, the wrapper. 30 years ago people thought a high-quality wrapper couldn’t be grown in the Dominican Republic. Carlos Fuente Jr. proved everyone wrong. He planted 37 acres of Cuban seed, growing a dark, oily Corojo Cuban-seed wrapper that makes the OpusX the cigar it is today. You won’t find this wrapper on any other cigar in the industry outside of Fuente and their brands. Also, OpusX cigars are aged for a minimum of one year, in cabinets, behind closed doors, and rolled in their own special area in the factory.
“OpusX, by Arturo Fuente is a medium-to-full bodied roller coasters of strength and flavor. Flavor notes included soft leather, medium pepper, and sweet cedar. Opus X pairs well with almost any coffee drink, light-to-medium bodied beers, and light-bodied liquors. If you like Opus X you should also try Encore by E.P. Carrillo, 1988 by Warped, and the mj12 by Illusione,” writes Matt W of The Cigar Box Indianapolis.
OpusX is available at both locations, while supplies last. Limit 1 OpusX cigar per person, per visit.
