"A truly unique cigar." - Matt W.
The work of Shakespeare inspired the name of Romeo y Julieta when first established in 1875 in Cuba.
After winning numerous gold medals at tasting exhibitions in the late 1800’s, the company quickly became known around the world as the best of the best. Winston Churchill was an avid Romeo y Julieta customer.
The Cuban Revolution and nationalization of the cigar industry forced the company to re-establish outside of Cuba in 1976, producing cigars in the Dominican Republic where it resides today.
“This high-end of medium-bodied cigar is full in flavors of natural aged tobacco, light spice, and white pepper. A truly unique cigar to the Romeo y Julieta line with great construction. It pairs excellently with medium-to-lighter bodied liquors and any coffee drink later in the day,” writes Matt W. of The Cigar Box Indianapolis.
The Cigar Box is a family-owned, retail cigar store with two locations in Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana. Learn more at www.thecigarboxonline.com.
