His friends told him he’d never make it in the cigar industry. The rest is history.
In the early 1990’s Rocky Patel lived and worked in LA as an entertainment and product liability lawyer. He fell in love with cigars and invested in an opportunity to manufacture cigars under the name Indian Tabac Cigar Co.
Rocky Patel is a world traveler, in constant search for perfection. He strives to create more complex cigars, blending tobaccos from various regions, with a heavy emphasis on quality control.
Rocky Patel’s Special Reserve Sungrown Maduro is a triple-capped, hand-bunched and hand-rolled cigar highlighted by an oily Broadleaf wrapper. It has won numerous awards as a top ten cigar with ratings between 93 - 95 from Cigar Aficionado, Cigar Journal, and Cigar Snob.
