H. Upmann is one of the oldest cigar brands still produced today. Two brothers, August and Hermann Upmann started the brand in 1844. They are also known as the inventors of the cedar box used today to store cigars.
The H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez is an interpretation of the storied H. Upmann brand reimagined by AJ Fernandez and made in their Nicaragua factory using Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, Corojo 99 binder, and Criollo 98 and Pilito Cubano filler. The H. Upmann AJ Fernandez is available in five sizes including Toro (54 x 6), Robusto (52 x 5), Toro Tube (54 x 6), Churchill (54 x 7), and Belicoso (52 x 6-1/8).
